[edit] The Burch Band

The Burch Band is the biggest and longest running band under the Animalz Records. They started out in mid 2006 as a duo, with Sean LeMay on the harmonica, vocals, and sounds and Tom Sirratt on guitar, vocals, and sounds. During this time they made three albums, Burch Bark,Burch Beer, and Fire Part Two, these albums where filled with very long pieces of Avant-garde/Experimental sounds. After this Keith McDade joined playing bass, for the recording of there next album Tree Tom Carroll joined to play drums. This album had two discs disc one was a one hour jam recored in Animalz Studios in Tom Carroll's house, and the second disc was Sean LeMay and Tom Carroll this album sounded more like there first three albums. Off this album they had one kinda hit called Roy, to fill in for what Sirratt and Sean had started all four went in and started working on there next album Fire Part One. Fire Part one was filled many great long jams with good beats, the concept for the album was made by Sean LeMay. The story was about a group of three kids who get lost in a woods and rely on fire to live.

After this the band went threw some changes Angelo Distasi joined the band playing lead guitar, and Tom Sirratt left for most of the jam sessions for private reasons and to work on a series of solo albums. The band went on and without Sirratt they recored Rassoodocks an album all about Stanly Kubrick and his films featuring Angelo on guitar, and Earth vs Earth or Mars is Safe a anti war concept album about going to mars and when returning to Earth they find out that it was blown up, this album only featured Sean LeMay,Tom Carroll, and Keith McDade. Next the band went and added to the Fire album series and made Fire Part Three Or Even More Campfire Jams. This album was a collection of four jams the first two featured Angelo on Guitar and the last two featured Tom Sirratt on guitar. The band still not having a steady guitarist had there friend Justin Deland join and with Justin they made one album Justin Jams, most of the songs on this album where about sex and where written by Justin.

Next the band kinda took a break from jamming and Sean and Sirratt got together again as a duo and recored another Avant-garde/Experimental called The Burch Bark Story. This was a concept album made into play form, it was about Sirratt and Sean meeting up with a dog named Burch. Sean and Tom got back together with Tom Carroll and Keith McDade and recorded the soundtrack for Sean LeMays film Space Slideshow Galaxy Glider, the film was about a man who is lost in time and has to kill himself just to escape. The band then teamed up with Angelo again and recorded a concept album called Pyramid Part 1: 2021 The Peace Is Gone about a man seeing aliens taking over the Earth, during this album Tom Sirratt and Keith both did not play and the band was just trio with Tom Carroll, Sean and Angelo. After this album Sean had a idea to make a album just filled with mini short songs split into parts composed by each member of the band, kinda like Ummagumma from Pink Floyd. This album was called the Iwo Jima Album, the first part was made by Sean LeMay and his friend Mike Pappineau which had 15 songs, Tom Sirratt and Sean made the next part which had 18 parts, Keith mad the next part featuring 14 songs and Sean finished it with 9 songs, this was a total of 56 songs and was almost 70 minutes long.

The band split and went on to alot of different projects and put Burch Band off, Keith McDade quite jamming and Sean,Tom Carroll, and Sirratt went on to make Dog Poop. But during this time Sean and Sirratt did alot of random recordings in the woods and on the computer, Sean edited all of these recordings together to make there newest album Tubby Rock. Tubby Rock is about when Sean and Sirratt first started to talk about there ideas for the Burch Band back in mid 2006.

[edit] Monolith

Was a band formed by Sean LeMay and Tom Carroll in 2006, there first album was Psyhodelic Aardvark/Creative Jazzed Marching Band. This album was a two part concept album, part one was Psyhodelic Aardvark a story about how to put together a slide and part two was The Creative Jazzed Marching Band a story about a man who kills himself and goes to a Jungle instead of Heaven. Tom and Sean being in other bands did get a chance to make there next album in 2007, when during a jam with Tom Sirratt, Sirratt got up and left in a crazed rage about something. Without Sirratt, Tom and Sean went on a recorded Ecirp Isogul the album had a Avant-garde Henry Cow type sound. Now being together as a band again Sean and Tom got there friend Angelo Distasi to return for another jam sesseion. During this session they made the album Theodore Weld, about the anti-slave author.

[edit] The Train Watching Loonys In Space

The Trains where a comedy group featuring Sean LeMay on keyboards and Mike Pappineau doing vocals. There first album was a double album, disc one featured two fifteen minute avant garde instementals and a ten minute mini concept by Sean LeMay about going to a planet and having to stay till you die. Disc two was all two to three minute tracks most of them just really bad rap and some of them just weird songs. There next album called Five-Two=Three was also a double album and just featured five long songs most of the songs on this album are about Universal Monsters. There next album Planet XR23 was also a double album disc one was half a live album recorded live at the non Royal Albert Hall and the album ended with a three part song about Mike admitting that he is as white as a light. Disc two had a six part concept split up into two songs, part one trew five where all in song one which was over thirty minutes long, part six was in its own song and was only about two minutes long. There next album Blood From The Curse Of The Horror Of The Trains Tomb was a triple album, disc one was nine brand new songs all about b-list horror films. Disc two had one song that was almost forty minutes long called The Earth Versus The Monsters From Jupiter and The Horror From School, the name pretty much explains the concept for the song. And disc three featured two new songs by Sean LeMay and then the rest of the disc was filled with twelve demos the band recorded before the release of there first album. Soon after this Mike Pappinea split from the band for personal resons, so to end if off Sean LeMay got together with his friend Tom Sirratt and they made one fourty minute song, the rest of the album was filled with old demos or never reased instementals.

Sean LeMay both came out with two solo albums in 2007, his first one SPÅCE DEA˝D ÄN˝D THE ØÅPTÅIN ÖF EÅRTH is just a collection of keyboard instementals he recorded over the year.
