[edit] Requested move

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

Ai HaibaraAnita Hailey — The implication of the result in Talk:Case Closed#Requested move meant all Case Closed characters should go with dub version names if there is. According to the Viz version of the Volume 18 of Case Closed manga, this character was named Anita Hailey-- and given previous usage of such a name, I have certain belief that the CC usage of this name is universal, and hence should be used. —Samuel di Curtisi di Salvadori 08:48, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Survey

Feel free to state your position on the renaming proposal by beginning a new line in this section with *'''Support''' or *'''Oppose''', then sign your comment with ~~~~. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's naming conventions.
  • Support not because of being the nom (the nom was out of necessity), but because name consistancy has to be enforced. --Samuel di Curtisi di Salvadori 08:50, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Concur; former should redir to latter. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 22:57, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

This article has been renamed from Ai Haibara to Anita Hailey as the result of a move request. --Stemonitis 14:06, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Move

I understand the name change to the dub version, but why use the character's alias? The Jimmy Kudo article is not named Conan Edogawa, so why should this article be any different. (Duane543 04:24, 17 August 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hailey2.JPG

Image:Hailey2.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Trivia and New sections

I deleted the trivia section(sense they are discouraged on Wikipedia, hey i don't make the rules), but don't panic, I just moved all the info into appropriate sections. I did not delete anything important. I had to add a section or two to help the artciel as well. Also any additions to the new sections would be useful. So edit away ^.^ - Prede (talk) 22:39, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
