Anil Mukim is an 1985 batch IAS officer. He is currently a Joint Secretary in the Commerce Ministry at New Delhi. He was the municipal commissioner of the city of Ahmedabad, in the state of Gujarat, India till early 2006.^[1].

His first posting was as Sub Divisional Magistrate in Bhuj, the headquarters of Kutch, between 1986-89. He has been the district collector of Vadodara and was appointed as district collector of Kutch after the 2001 Gujarat Earthquake.
