[edit] G'day!
G'day there, Anglicant, and welcome to Wikipedia! Good authors are always welcome on the project, and I hope you like the place and decide to stick around!
Sometimes new editors find it useful to review our "five pillars", all you need to know about editing in "wiki markup", or this detailed tutorial. The stuff we all really need to know is best summed up here: write from a neutral point of view, play nice with others, and don't let the rules get you down. If you have any questions or need any help, my talkpage is always open for business, or you can see Wikipedia:Newcomers help page. Here's a tip to start you off: if you type four tildes (~~~~) at the end of any messages you leave on talkpages (like this one) Wikipedia will automatically insert your name and the current date and time after your message. Cool, eh?
By the way, I'm going to take a punt in the dark and say you're Australian. If so, excellent! Aussies make good Wikipedians (yes, oh yes, we do). You may be interested in Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board, where Australian Wikipedians occasionally meet to try to help coordinate our efforts. Again, welcome to the project, and happy editing! fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 03:03, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] G'Day!
Hello Anglicant! Are you still around? Are you still fighting your lone and seemingly pointless battle? Join the club! ....I know where there is a long and boring white paling fence that you could take out your frustration on....
I'm an architectural historian, so I wrote the cathedral article very much from that point of view.
About images- images are put in place with the bracketted title XimageX:stairs|size|The stairs to the chapter house. The part that says XimageX:stairs links to a stored file at another location..
The name of the image sometimes doesn't relate to the subject matter very welll and may sometimes be completely inaccurate. But it cannot be change without losing the picture. I other words, if you change XimageX:stairs|.... to XimageX:Chapter house stairs|.... then there is no longer a picture. One can edit the title of the picture, but not the file name.
