Talk:Anglo-American loan

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It should read "These dollars were then spent in the US rather than in the UK...". I have changed it to the correct version. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.10.238 (talk) 11:05, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Strange Sentences

I don't know what this sentence is supposed to mean - "These dollars were then spent in the UK rather than in the UK...". Presumably one of the "UK"s is supposed to be a "US", but I don't know which.

[edit] Date of Loan Commencement

The article could maybe do with information on when the loan was given to Britain and also information on the negotiations which got Britain the loan (the bits of information I came here to find!).

[edit] Clean up

I think I got this article to make some sense. Much of it is cribbed from the first reference. It needs to be consistent with the lend-lease article. BBerryhill 04:06, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
