I count myself a videophile, but even I cannot decode (if you will!) the sentences surround interlacing. I am not clear whether it is saying the R1 DVDs play badly when DE-interlaced (ie, as a DVD player on a PC or in a PAL region would do) to progressive, or whether they play badly when left interlaced because they comb.

Likewise, what of the progressive (? - I know FOX are rubbish at handling interlacing in PAL regions, cf Buffy) PAL region DVDs?

Somebody who knows about this needs to clean up this section. I have added the tag. Harmonica (talk) 03:32, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
