Angband (and this image) is non-free solely owing to a technicality of the original Angband licence, which prohibited sale or distribution for profit. A great deal of effort has gone into making Angband GPL-compliant, and the next official version (v3.1.0) will be released under the GPL. The non-free status of this image will then change.
