Anglican Planet
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Anglican Planet (TAP) is an independent monthly newspaper in Canada serving the Anglican Church of Canada. Started in 2005 by two parish priests The Rev'ds David A. Harris and C. Peter Molloy, TAP is already the largest independent Anglican newspaper in Canada[citation needed]. Although primarily a news journal, it also seeks to serve the Anglican Church of Canada as a source of intellectual, biblical and spiritual renewal. It also features theological and devotional writings from prominent Anglicans around the world.
Although intended for a Canadian Anglican audience, due to the contribution of first-rate theologians and insightful commentary, TAP's web page is visited by people crossing denominational lines. It has become the most trusted source of news for North American Anglicans.
The Anglican Planet is not an official journal of any single organization or ecclesiastical body within the Anglican Communion, and has an independent editorial policy.
