Angerberg is a municipality in the Kufstein district and is located 2.70 km north above Wörgl as well as 14 km southwest of Kufstein. The village was mentioned for the first time in documents in 1190. The community is a popular settlement area and the number of inhabitants are still increasing; current number: 1694.
