Angelique Kerber (born January 18, 1988) is a professional German tennis player. As of August 27, 2007, she is at a career high of No. 67 in the world and the second highest ranked German, behind Martina Muller.

Kerber began playing tennis at age five. In the 2007 French Open she played in a Grand Slam Tournament for the first time, where Russian player Elena Dementieva defeated her in the first round. In addition, she played in Wimbledon 2007, although was also defeated by Russia's Anna Chakvetadze.
She lost to Serena Williams in Arthur Ashe Stadium at night in the first round of the 2007 U.S. Open - Women's Singles.
