Angelique Bates

Angelique Bates (born December 1, 1985) is an American actress, from Native American/Haitian decent, best known for the two seasons she served on the Nickelodeon sketch-comedy series All That.[1]

Angelique Bates got her start in a Borax commercial when she was a baby.[2] Then she landed an AT&T commercial and a co-starring role in the movie "Sweet Potato Ride". Many years later, she got the job on a new sketch comedy series.

In 1992, Angelique Bates got a call from her agent about the Nickelodeon show, All That. She auditioned by doing an impression of Urkel, which she would get to do various times on the show.[3]
After two seasons, she left the series when her contract ran out. [4] She did, however, return for the 100th episode, along with fellow All That alumni Katrina Johnson and Alisa Reyes.

After leaving All That, Angelique later booked a Co-Starring roles on "Strong Medicine" and "Boston Public". She also landed a few more commercials. Angelique is focusing on music. She goes by her nickname, "Alizay." Her MySpace page includes such songs as the "Numb / Encore"-sampling "Fly So High."
It is believed that she will co-star with Katrina Johnson and Alisa Reyes in the movie Sisters.
Angelique is also in the process of completing her debut album which is currently untitled. Angelique (Alizay) has teamed up with super producer Dre Ghost of the group L.D.T.(Layzie Bone, Dre Ghost, Thin C) on Mo Thug Records who helped put Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on the map. Her singles I Bet & Cali have already gained her a larger and a more diverse fan base.
Angelique has been seen live on stage performing at some large mainstream events with actor/recording artist H. Wood. Angelique has opened up for artists such as Sugar Hill Gang, A Tribe Called Quest, Special Ed, Big Daddy Kane, Rampage (Flipmode Squad) and many more.
