Angela Spears is currently a weekday anchor and morning reporter on First Coast News at WTLV/WJXX in Jacksonville, Florida. Spears reports for Good Morning Jacksonville Sunrise and Good Morning Jacksonville and anchors the weekday Noon newscast of First Coast News.[1]
Angela was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
Angela started her career at WTLV in August 1998. She was previously an anchor/reporter at KWTX-TV, the CBS affiliate in Waco, Texas.

While at KWTX-TV, Angela won 1st place in 1998 for Best General Assignment Story by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasting Association. She also won the Best Spot Story award in 1997.[1]
