Giving that the article I wrote was deleted within 1 minute of creating it, I don't believe Jagawhatever his name is even read it enough to distinguish if the personal was noteable or not. Take a look at his stats and record, and Division I school he plays at.
Copyedit
What is copy edit? Copying from other source and editing it? Why an article need to "copy edit" Roded86400 10:19, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- I have no idea what you're talking about. andy 11:20, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

declined to delete this one
The information not in the public domain on these sites is specified. Al US PD sites carry this legend, and all are used.USFWS pages are widely used throughout WP . [1]
It is to be construed by common sense. Your proposed rule would require the deletion of all US PD derived material. Please discuss on WP:Copyright.
Anyway, this is not speedy--read WP:CSD--speedy for copyvio is for unquestionable copyvios, where no assertion of permission is given is given, and this is 1/ not unquestionable. 2/ permission is asserted. In cases which do not meet "unquestionable" it must be discussed., DGG (talk) 01:00, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Must have slipped a cog - when I re-read the notice it seems different!. andy 15:50, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Copyright Problem
I notice you have tagged my Angola Horror article. I am happy to rewrite but I am surprised by your approach. Surely something written in 1879 is well out of copyright both by US and UK and any other rules. Catskill archives don't as far as I'm aware hold copyright just by putting the work on their website. Adams is well out of the picture, since it is now 128 years after he wrote that book! Please explain ! Peterlewis 20:47, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Nope, copyright can exist in material derived from old sources. See my reply. andy 22:45, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Covenant Christian Academy (Loganville, Georgia)
I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Covenant Christian Academy (Loganville, Georgia), which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. I have nominated the article for deletion instead; the debate may be found at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Covenant Christian Academy (Loganville, Georgia), which overrides the need for a {{prod}} tag. I have explained my reasons for doing this in my nomination. Thanks! KTC 01:33, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Oke. I will do.

Thanks but there was no warning. Have a look The USA and change the article. You can see a warning about it. I think we must put this warning in these articles.
Take care of yourself

Magheracloone
Look do you think the people would care wether it's from their website or not because its info you people said you wanted cited information so i got cited information.Point93 19:20, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- Please read the Wikipedia:Copyrights#Using_copyrighted_work_from_others policy on copyright violations - it's very clear. Copyvios are illegal. andy 21:40, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- Ok,you can delete that page i dont mind i understand why you have copright laws,so i will put the text back onto wikipedia but edit it so it is my own version and if you still have a problem tell me what it isPoint93 18:03, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- How is that i edited it no sentence was the same, tell me how that was wrong you also changed the grid reference which was correct, this was my version- Magheracloone is very close to the Cavan-Monghan border. Machaire (na) Cluana which is Irish for the Pasture Plain. It covers 12,952 statute acres, making it the biggest parish in Monaghan. In the land lies numerous natural resources such as gypsum. During the 1840's the population numbered around 9,000 nowadays it only has a population of around 1800.
Meeting their spiritual needs they worshipped in three vibrant Churches, built and maintained by the people of different traditions, The three churches in which the people of Magheracloone worship in are St. Peter & Paul's, St. Moluna's and St. Patrick's . It is said that Carrickmacross and Magheracloone were once joined as one community. When political freedoms were restored, sporting and recreational facilities sprung up and the young girls and boys of today fulfill their victories on the playing fields with great results. The national(primary) schools are Ballynagearn NS , Drumgossett NS and Scoil Bhride NS. - All named after the area in which they are situated except Scoil Bhride NS which is at Mullaghrafferty
It has a Gaelic football team called the Magheracloone Mitchells. The team have won the Monaghan Senior Football Championship once in 2004. They have come runners-up three times in 2006, 2005 and 2002.The three monaghan inter county players Thomas Freeman, Damien Freeman and Shane Duffy.
Her is the only bit exactly the same as the [[2]] version is: Like the sound of the lark in the clear air echoes the voices of song, music and dance in the locality. Joys and sorrows, emigration and home employment, success and failure, life and death are wafted in the melody of a local singer "Down through the years".
So you are to say it copyvio?? explain how??i've changed all of it,if still think its wrong as i dont want my editing rights taken away i will post it on your talk page before putting it there,is this ok,so then you can agree whether it is ok or copyvioPoint93 20:49, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Notability
Per some discussion made before, ALL active player made his debut on fully professionally league (i.e. top division league, or on minor league of highly developed nation), is already pass the Notability.
For sure Italian Serie A is a professional league, and they also played for more than ten Serie A games in their whole career. Matthew_hk tc 17:49, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Tagging of professional football players for speedy deletion
Please read WP:BIO. It states that people who have played in a fully professional league are generally notable. They are clearly not a case for speedy deletion, you can try to have it deleted at AFD if you wish. Darksun 19:13, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
I feel for you, trying to get a footballer deleted, I doubt it will happen, as wiki has chosen blanket notability over reason.198.163.55.72 13:45, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

I have declined the speedy deletion, as authoring over half a dozen books is an assertion of notability. You may wish to take the article to WP:AFD however. Best. Pedro : Chat 13:11, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Andy, I'm not sure if this is the right way to message you, so apologoies if im putting this in the wrong spot. First of all, I did not delete some else's comments, I deleted a NAME from one of my own comments, for reasons of privacy.
Secondly, you deleted an entire article in a gung ho fashion, and you totally ignored my comments on why it should not be deleted. You seem to have a history of doing this. Please re-consider your position, and please READ MY COMMENTS. I work as a professional writer and editor. Changes such as yours make me think I am wasting my time contributing to wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamesmassola (talk • contribs) 13:28, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
And i apologise, I did not mean to not sign my comments. I am still learning how to use wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamesmassola (talk • contribs) 13:37, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

I was concerned about the notability when I put all of those tags on it. I did find in a Google search that Skrev Press was founded by Daithidh MacEochaidh, so it's somewhat a vanity publication, anyway. Corvus cornix 21:32, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. I doubt if vanity publishing automatically means no notability, but it's surely a strong indicator. andy 21:34, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Why are you leaving mesages not do a "speedy deletion"? YOu've got me very confused. One I'm not deleting anything, just the opposite and two I didn't create her page in the first place. Either you're info/source isn't right or you didn't check this actresses' history page to see who did what and when. ;-) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Robinepowell (talk • contribs) 08:28, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
The notice is a warning that the article may be deleted, not a request for you not to do it! And I placed it out of politeness because you contributed to the article. andy 11:43, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Andy, I am a first time Wiki user and created the article on The Collapse of Westpoint Financial services, you have marked it for deletion. This is an assessment for University, an Ethics Subject. I researched the paper for weeks and have included a full list of references as well as comprehensive intext referencing. It is NOT a 'hopelessly non neutral essay' the facts are presented as well as those ethical concepts that are relevant, every fact has its reference cited as is my Universitys referencing procedure. I have never used Wikipedia before so have no idea how to remove your deletion tag,. I have tried all the reedit procedures and nothing is working. Please remove your tag. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Monkee76 (talk • contribs) 07:05, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
WP:PR, The Thriving Cult of Greed and Power
- The Thriving Cult of Greed and Power, at Wikipedia:Peer review/The Thriving Cult of Greed and Power/archive1. You commented back when this article was up for deletion discussion, and I don't think you monitor the WikiProjects I posted this notice to. Your suggestions on any tips to get this article eventually to WP:FA, or if you think it is ready for WP:FAC or WP:GAC, would be most appreciated at the Peer Review. Thank you. Vangteh Issue cont.
Hi. Thanks for reply. Yes, of course, i wanna recreate the page Vangteh since it is not a fake story though being humiliated by lack of printed materials and by its unfortunate present location in a very closed country. If don't mind, please, kindly provide a simple information on how to get to administrator who deleted the previous page. Thanks. Khumpita 03:34, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

T.Theodorsen
I was wondering what information you require to allow others the ability to study the works of a brilliant Mathematician. I would say that if someone lived math to the degree that Theodore Theodorsen did, you would have to at least look over something he produces. FYI he actully was the top #1 of his school in math in Norway. Didn't Einstein suck at math? Your flat out decision to delete T.T theory is without merrit and lacks insight. GPA (talk) 22:17, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Not just my opinion or just my decision - it's the collective view of several editors. The article is without merit and lacks insight. andy (talk) 22:38, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Is that because you lack the wisdom to allow something that is clearly above everyone intellect. He was a great thinker and that should be merrit enough. GPA (talk) 22:49, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Whatever. Please be polite. andy (talk) 23:01, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

It's just frustrating to have this mans work vetted by people who don't know his work. As for the votes....I am sorry I can't remember changing it. I just wanted to get my point across to the board. I was never trying to hide who I was.. I work with computers and it would be easy to mislead people with many accounts. That was never my intention. GPA (talk) 23:32, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Nevertheless the article clearly fails the standard Wikipedia tests of notability. andy (talk) 23:37, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
- Why is your censorship so harsh
I wonder if you saw the article about Britney Spears it seems that the 40 pages of this pop star is more informative than the paragraph view of a great thinker. There seems to be some issue you have with this man T.T. and his work. Understand you have been obsessed on not allowing his work to be in the public forum for some reason, and I am perplexed at your censorship. GPA (talk) 12:26, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Chill. Theodorsen was probably a great aerodynamicist but nobody cared a hoot about his views on Einstein. Your article failed to make the case so it was deleted. This isn't about censorship, it's about whether this encyclopedia wants that sort of article. The answer is a clear no. Why? Well, read the rules - WP:NOT, WP:NPOV, WP:NN and so on and so on. If you don't like it, find another website. andy (talk) 23:34, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
schools
Only those types of things listed in CSD A7 can be deleted under A7, and that does not include schools. Additionally, deletions of high school articles are always contested at AfD, so the only course fort hem is to take the articles there directly. Primary and intermediate schools can usefully go to PROD, since they are rarely contested. DGG (talk) 00:11, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe db-test would have been better, since it was clearly some kid playing with WP. andy (talk) 00:16, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
CiRCA
Today I created a factual and encyclopedic article entitled CiRCA (Nightclub) http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=CiRCA_%28Nightclub%29 and I got your message about speedy deletion and your instructions to insert {{hangon}}. When I attempted to follow your instructions by going to the article, it appeared that it had already been deleted, the same day that I created it. Please advise.Glogger 18:24, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
