[edit] Nice theory
Interesting stuff, but sadly nothing original can go on wikipedia. Maybe you put it on wikibooks(inquire in the general area). But that would mean you give up copyright of the article, as the moment you put something on wikipedia/wikibooks it can be copied and used freely. SunCreator (talk) 02:26, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Um, technically, no, you don't give up copyright. However you do license it to everyone in the world, under the terms of the GFDL. A fine distinction but an important one -- read the GFDL article to see why. --Trovatore (talk) 02:29, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, well I bow to your knowledge on that. SunCreator (talk) 02:36, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks guys, I'll have a look. I'm not really worried about who copies it or whatever, just so long as I get credit for the discovery and research. A C Thursby-Pelham 02:33, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

- Question Is something published on the web not published? And, if I get someone else to write the entry and quote the correct references doesn't that make it fit the guidlines?A C Thursby-Pelham 02:56, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

- Not really, because the source should be 3rd party, by that it means independent of you. And if you got someone to write it then they are not independent of you. SunCreator (talk) 03:08, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
