A tag has been placed on Attic Fire Photography, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Unfortunately, a great many short and nonsense articles are put into Wikipedia, and so incoming articles are looked at and unsuitable ones are "speedily deleted". That means that if you put an article in before you have got more than a few words, it will almost certainly get deleted within a few minutes. You would do better to prepare your article in a word-processor like Notepad, and maybe try it out in the sandbox, and wait to put it in till there is enough to make it clear it can become a sensible article. That way it is less likely to be deleted. But you should also follow the links in the Welcome paragraph above, to understand what sort of articles are acceptable.

Another way to protect an article is to put {{underconstruction}} at the top, if you plan to add to it soon; but if it is not edited for several days, that tag will be automatically removed. JohnCD (talk) 10:57, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
