I was born on 18 June 1986 in Sacramento, California, and grew up in Rancho Cordova, California. I have also lived in Santa Cruz, California, and I currently reside in New York City.
I have a mom and a dad, a brother and a sister, a grandma, four cats, and a fear of leaving the toilet seat up like you wouldn't believe.

I received my high school diploma from Cordova High School in 2004. I have attended classes at American River College since 2001.
I attended the University of California, Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, California from 2004 to 2005, majoring in linguistics and environmental studies.
I transferred to Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts in New York City in 2006, majoring in liberal arts with a concentration in urban studies, where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in January 2008.
After earning my bachelor's degree, I plan to obtain a master's degree in urban planning. At this point, I have little interest in extending my studies to the doctoral level.
