I am no first class editor. I have made only a rare few contributions to this encyclopedia...of sorts. I understand if what I say is disregarded by y'all totally.

That being said, I find the behavior of the people here disgusting. You people take this site far too seriously and devote way too much time to it. I have no problem with being concerned about the idea behind it, or working hard to make it a good source, but you people need to get a grip on reality.

I have read the various nonsense bout Durova, SlimVirgin, Jimbo, and others. I think it fair to say (at least from what I have seen) that both sides of this had their moments of immaturity in dealing with one another. Have you guys forgotten the ancient truism of the internet: "Fighting on the internet is like racing in the special olympics, even if you win, you're still a retard."?

I think it is time for term limits to be imposed on wikiadmins. I think this should apply to ALL admins. you guys will drive one another crazy to the point of destroying that which you profess to love so dearly and take so seriously. I think three words really epitomize my instruction to you: Get. A. Life.

I hope sincerely that you guys will chill out enough to allow the media to take wikipedia seriously. Maybe one day the academic world will welcome the site as well. However that day will not come until the editors and administrators conduct themselves like proper adults.
