Talk:Andrew Jackson Donelson/Comments

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is, for the most part, factually correct. It does not, however, reflect the current scholarship on Donelson, as contained in Mark R. Cheathem's biography, Old Hickory's Nephew: The Political and Private Struggles of Andrew Jackson Donelson (2007).

For example, Donelson did not retire politically after the 1856 election; rather, he continued to be involved in national politics through the Constitutional Union party and, after the Civil War, in Tennessee politics.

For whatever reason, The Mystery Man has repeatedly reverted my attempts to correct the article to the one that you see now. Individuals interested in a more complete and accurate article should see my edits. General Bradley 00:23, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
