Andy Quan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Andy Quan (born July 7, 1969, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada), is a Chinese-Canadian author who now lives in Sydney, Australia. In his writing, he frequently explores the ways in which sexual identity and cultural identity interact. Quan is openly gay.[1]
In addition to his writing, Quan is a musician and community activist. He has a keen interest in competitive wrestling, and has participated in matches himself.[citation needed] However, he decided to step away from competing after a back injury some years back.[citation needed] He also enjoys traveling, and thinks nothing of jetting off to Hawaii, Southeast Asia, and, occasionally, his native Canada.[citation needed]
