From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Born in 1968, Andy Lee enjoyed a short professional career with Preston North End before moving to Runcorn FC and then to GM Vauxhall conference club Telford United, where he captained the club to FA Trophy success at Wembley Stadium in 1989 in a 1-0 success over Macclesfield Town.
Lee was then transferred to Colne Dynamos the following season for a sizeable fee. After an injury hit season, a subsequent number of clubs followed; amongst them Droylsden, Witton Albion and Ashton United. A successful coaching career followed at professional academy and semi professional clubs, the latest of which being Congleton Town. Lee became one of the youngest holders of the UEFA 'A' Licence coaching award which he gained while still only 30 years of age.
