Andrew Raia

Andrew Raia (born 1969) represents District 9 in the New York State Assembly, which comprises parts of Huntington, Babylon, New York and Islip, Long Island.

First elected in 2002, Raia is currently the ranking member of the Assembly Committee on Banks. Prior to his election, he was a member of legislative offices in both houses of the New York state legislature, as well as the Suffolk County Legislature.

He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
