Andrew Hevesi

Andrew Hevesi is a New York State Assemblyman. He was elected in a special election in May of 2005 to serve the remainder of a term expiring on December 31, 2006; he was re-elected in November 2006.
Assemblyman Hevesi is the son of former New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi, who used to hold this Assembly seat, and the brother of former State Sen. Daniel Hevesi.
Assemblyman Hevesi previously worked as chief of staff to Assemblyman Jeffrey Klein, now a state senator, and as a senior aide to New York City Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum. He was also a paralegal for the District Attorney of Queens County.
Assemblyman Hevesi represents Forest Hills and Middle Village.
