Dr. Andrew Dahlke is a saxophonist currently serving as Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Northern Colorado. He holds Bachelor of Musical Arts in Jazz Studies and Master of Music Education degrees from the University of Michigan and the Doctor of Musical Arts in saxophone from the University of North Texas.
Dr. Dahlke is a CONN-SELMER artist clinician,[1] and a member of the Capitol Quartet.
Dahlke serves as the treasurer for the Colorado International Assiciation for Jazz Education.
Andrew Dahlke is a tenor saxophonist in the Colorado Jazz Orchestra.[2] He has performed at the 2005 IAJE Conference[3], as well as lectured at the 2007 Conference on the topic of Jazz Language in Improvisation.[4]
