Andrew Bishop (born 7 August 1985) is a Welsh rugby union footballer who plays for the Ospreys at centre, usually inside centre.
He was a stalwart of the Wales Under 21 Grand Slam victory in 2005, following in the footsteps of Ospreys centre Gavin Henson, who won the same prize in 2003.
He is widely regarded as a very talented young back.[citation needed] His positioning and reading of the game, not to mention his ability to apply pressure and charge-down clearance kicks from mediocre opposition, are renowned.[citation needed]
He has scored become a regular part of the Ospreys line up and has played 40 matches since his debut in February 2005, and scored 3 tries. (As of 23rd December 2006).
