Andrew Bernstein (born 29 June 1949) is an Objectivist philosopher and professor of philosophy at Marist College.
Bernstein has written the CliffsNotes for Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, and Anthem. He is the author of Heart of a Pagan, a novel, and The Capitalist Manifesto: The Historic, Economic, and Philosophic Case for Laissez-Faire. He has lectured at Harvard University, Duke University, Yale University, Stanford University, the United States Military Academy, Founders College, the University of Southern California, and elsewhere. He currently teaches at SUNY Purchase. He is affiliated with the Ayn Rand Institute, and is known for his public defense of Objectivism.
