Andre Coleman (born January 18, 1971 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is a former professional American football player who played wide receiver He attended Hickory High School in Hermitage, Pennsylvania while winning them a state championship. He played collegiately at Kansas State University. He later went on to play five seasons for the San Diego Chargers, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Seattle Seahawks.
Coleman's primary role during his career was as a kick returner, gaining 4,466 yards and 2 touchdowns returning kickoffs. He also added 384 yards and a touchdown returning punts, and caught 43 passes for 602 yards and 3 touchdowns. As a rookie, Coleman made it to Super Bowl XXIX with the Chargers and set several Super Bowl records in the game: most kickoff returns (8), most return yards (244), and most total yards (244).
