André-Pierre Gignac (born 12 May 1985 in Martigues) is a French professional footballer, currently playing for Toulouse FC. He is a striker.
Gignac joined Lorient as a trainee, making his Ligue 2 debut on 13 August 2004, starting the match and scoring the 78th-minute winner against LB Châteauroux.

He is married and has a son, André-Pierre (born June 20, 2007).
His maternal grandmother is Algerian and his former teammate at FC Lorient Rafik Saifi used to joke about him playing for the Algerian National Team.
