The Andean Slaty Thrush (Turdus nigriceps) is a species of bird in the Turdidae family.
It is found in north-west Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru. The subspecies found in north-east Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil is often considered to be a separate species, the Eastern Slaty Thrush (T. subalaris).
Its natural habitats are temperate forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest.
