Ancillae Assumpta Academy

Ancillae-Assumpta Academy is a small, private school (Preschool-8) in Wyncote, Pennsylvania that focuses on teaching students in the ways of Catholicism. Ancillae is run by the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart, who follow in the teachings of Saint Raphaela Mary.
In the 2005-2006 year, Ancillae celebrated its 60th anniversary with the school theme of "Sharing Our Story".
The academy is located on the former estate of George Horace Lorimer, longtime editor of the Saturday Evening Post.
Ancillae's successful sports program competes in the Catholic Academy League (C.A.L).

Ancillae has won many of the CAL championships. In the 2006-2007 school year, the varsity soccer team won the CAL. Also, the football team has a very notable record. IN the 2004-2005 school year the boys sports, football, basketball, and baseball,won the CAL as well. Ancillae tries to instills manners, caring, kindness, friendship, intelligence, and other good values in their students. Students that graduated most recently, 2006-2007 school year say they truly miss it and want to go back everyday.
