[edit] Speedy deletion of Denplan
A tag has been placed on Denplan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Jameson L. [edit] December 2007
Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Denplan. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Logo denplan.gif
Thank you for uploading Image:Logo denplan.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 12:04, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Denplan logo
You reinserted into the Denplan article a reference to the Denlan logo, which is marked for deletion. As mentioned above you MUST add copyright information to Image:Logo denplan.gif or the logo will again be deleted from the article. Please read the copyright message above and go to the media copyright questions page if you need help. Sbowers3 (talk) 17:38, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- And on a related note, Wikipedia complies with the GFDL while that website has unknown terms of use. Unless that site has explicitly licensed itself under the GFDL or a compatible license, the logo and text exerpt, if posted on Wikipedia, make it a copyright violation. In order for the text to be there, it must be compatible with the GFDL. Please do not remove tags related to these concerns. x42bn6 Talk Mess 19:16, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
