Amtali (Bengali: আমতলী) is an Upazila of Barguna District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh.

Amtali is located at . It has 45804 units of house hold and total area 720.76 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Amtali has a population of 244438. Males constitute are 50.39% of the population, and females 49.61%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 119889. Amtali has an average literacy rate of 33.9% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
