On the contrary, this article should be merged into the Elisabeth Fritzl article. The alleged case took place over 24 years and only came to light in 2008, so to have a year in the title would be misleading. Also not so much a kidnapping as an imprisonment. Perhaps The Fritzl Case‎ would be better. But this alleged crime began with the alleged imprisonment of Elisabeth, so I think it's the best place to start. We can look at merging the Elisabeth Fritzl article later once more facts are known. HtD (talk) 11:11, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

I agree with everything you say. I didn't know Fritzl's name when I created this article - if I had done, and found the article on her, I probably wouldn't have created this one. I agree imprisonment is better than kidnap as well. --Richardrj ^{talk email} 12:25, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Maybe it would be better to delete this article altogether. As you know, there is already a discussion at WP:Articles for deletion/Elisabeth Fritzl. I will go with whatever the results of that discussion are. --Richardrj ^{talk email} 12:32, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
