Amsoft was a software company owned by Amstrad. It published games between 1984 and 1989 for Amstrad's range of 8-bit home computers; the Amstrad CPC and, from 1986, the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Many people's first play on the Amstrad CPC would have been an Amsoft title, as several were bundled with the computer.
