Amrita TV, launched in 2005, as a 24-hour Malayalam, general entertainment & news satellite channel with a global footprint, has been honoured with 26 State Awards for Excellence in Television--the only channel in India to be bestowed with such a recognition in just two years since inception. Amrita TV has been in the forefront in delivering programmes which are endearing, enriching and entertaining.

In a very short span, Amrita TV has pioneered tasteful and pathbreaking television content. Be it reality shows that nurture talent and foster shared values; or programmes that showcase and preserve India's culture and ethos; or news features and infotainment that highlight real life challenges and celebrate the human spirit.
