Phanom Sarakham (Thai: พนมสารคาม) is a district (Amphoe) in the central part of Chachoengsao Province, central Thailand.

Mueang Phanom Sarakham was a city of Ayutthaya kingdom, in the same age as Mueang Phanat Nikhom and Sanam Chai Khet.

It was established to be Phanom Sarakham district in 1894.

Neighboring districts are (from the east clockwise) Sanam Chai Khet, Plaeng Yao, Ratchasan of Chachoengsao Province, Si Mahosot and Si Maha Phot of Prachinburi Province.

The important water resource is the Khlong Tha Lat.

The district is subdivided into 8 subdistricts (tambon), which are further subdivided into 86 villages (muban). There are three townships (thesaban tambon) within the district - Ko Khanum, Phanom Sarakham and Khao Hin Son each cover parts of the same-named tambon. There are further 8 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
