AmpFest - Clash of the Bands was an initiative of a West Australian Youth Advisory Council (YAC) and was originally held in 2003 by five councils from the towns and cities of Cambridge, Claremont, Mosman Park, Subiaco and Vincent in Western Australia.

The event is scheduled for 2008[1].
