Amos K. Hadley

Amos Kinney [1] Hadley (October 12, 1812 Waterford, Caledonia County, Vermont - 1901) was an American lawyer and politician.

He was the son of Stephen Hadley (1777-1861) and Sarah Cushman Hadley (1780-1867).
He graduated from Hamilton College. Then he studied law with Judge John P. Cushman in Troy, New York, and was admitted to the bar in 1843.
He was a member from Rensselaer County of the New York State Assembly from 1847 to 1849, and was Speaker in 1848 and 1849.
He was buried at the Claverack Cemetery in Claverack, New York.
