...Guru Nanak Institute Of Technology(GNIT) from its inception has been playing a distinct role in the field of engineering education.The college was established in the year 2003.It is situated at Panihati,Sodpur of Northern part of Kolkata, just 5 min away from Sodpur railway station in Sealdah North Division and also connected by the Barrakhpur Trunk Road[B.T. Road]. The courses offered by GNIT are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the college is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology.

MISSION The College aims to prepare the students meeting the challenges of the growing and changing needs of industry through delivering high quality technical education blended with research and training appropriate to life long learning needs and aspirations of the students in the global setting. The College also aims to give practical insights and build confidence by exposing the students through in-plant training and case studies. CAMPUS LOCATION Nestled within an integrated higher education campus with a sprawling infrastructure and excellent educational ambience GNIT is located in the northern outskirts of Kolkata at Sodepur, Panihati. The campus is connected with rail (Sodepur Station) and roadways (B. T. Road).
