Template talk:AMI

I should note that the information in this template comes from personal correspondence between me and Vésteinn Ólason, head of the AMI. I chronicled the exchange in some detail back in some project page or talk page, I hope I can find it again :) - Haukur 14:46, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
The license states the attribution as a request. Is this correct? Fatalserpent 00:16, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- The Icelandic wording was, if I recall, "við förum fram á", which I think is fairly translated as "we request". Whether or not they have any authority to request anything depends on the nature of the image, your location in the world and the status of such things as the Bridgeman ruling. [edit] Quoting Bridgeman
Per discussion with User:Mikegodwin, the wording has been changed slightly. -- Avi (talk) 16:38, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
