Amira Abraham born March 3, 1966 in Kochi, India is a Jewish Indian ([1]) writer. Her father was a prominent lawyer encouraged to write. While studying at the University of Mumbai, she became a journalist for several newspapers and magazines. She rose to prominence following this career but changed track to become a novelist. She later then published her first novel three years later. Her most important books both written in Hindi and has been translated into several other languages.
