[edit] License tagging for Image:Downtown Berlin.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Downtown Berlin.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

- Actually, I am noting that the copyright status is indicated, but you haven't added the appropriate copyright template to the page. If it is your own work and you want to maintain copyright, then you might be looking for {{CopyrightedFreeUseProvided}}. If it is not your own work, then you can ask the author for the appropriate license. You can find a list of them at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Displayed and ranked. Let me know if you need help, thanks! tiZom(2¢) 14:22, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
