The American Humane Association believes that all animals should be treated humanely throughout their lifespan. We celebrate the special role animals play in our families and our lives. Animals appearing in film and television are testaments to the human/animal bond through their interaction with their trainers, with their cast and crew members, and ultimately through their effects on audiences. The American Humane Association's mission is to protect these animals so that they are treated humanely with the respect and compassion they deserve.
