[edit] Websites discussing "American Trad"...
American Trad style has been discussed in detail on primarily three on-line forums or message boards:
1. Askandyaboutclothes.com -- Discussion of American Trad style is generally considered to have started on this forum, although the earlier gopreppy.com was a starting point of early AAAC members. Although early discusion on AAAC was focused on the New England/WASP version of American Trad style, recent discussions have branched out considerably.
2. Filmnoirbuff.com -- This forum has focused on the English, European, and Japanese aspects of American Trad style, usually referred to as "Ivy". Classic American clothing advertisements and other historical aspects of the style have been discussed, plus obscure connections with MOD, Original Skinhead, and the early Jazz influences.
3. Styleforum.net -- Recent discussions have debated the issue of "class" and American Trad style.
