[edit] Where you at

On the table about the teams, should the "City/Area" be about the location of the playing field, or the team. For example: if somebody asked where the NEW YORK GIANTS were from, the answer would be NEW YORK even though their field is in NEW JERSEY. So should we say the FAIRFAX EAGLES are from FALLS CHURCH?

Im not sure about that. It is a good question. Reminder if you type something make sure you put 4 ~ s so that your signature shows up that way people will respond and also post comments at the bottom of the page not the top. Im just trying to help out if you have questions just ask me. John R G 06:11, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Boston Braves

The Boston Braves were originally called the Boston Wolfhounds and were a part of the Boston Irish Wolfhounds club. Participation by members of other local clubs led to the name change. I'm going to add something to that effect into the article. If anyone thinks that it's unnecessary, feel free to remove it and explain why on the talk page. [edit] Amateur or Pro?

I think the article should clarify this, but even after visiting the official site, I can't tell. Major or minor league?--BillFlis 21:35, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Semi-professional with some clubs a lot more professional than others.--Tiburon 07:50, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
The clubs websites invite walkups to the senior team. This league is highly amateur at best. --Spewmaster 08:42, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 2006 Championship

Who is in the championship finals for 2006? John R G 05:22, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Logos

all the logos of teams with names from the NRL and Super league are direct copies, and infringing copywrite Rubaisport 00:06, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Not really, while some are similar they're not exact and the ones that do share similar logos/names usually have some agreement or affiliate assocation with the other NRL/Super League club.--Tiburon 04:45, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Teams notable ?

I noted that every single team from the USAFL has recently been deleted. SHouldn't the ANRL teams also be deleted on these grounds ? --Spewmaster 08:40, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Semi Pro ??? Yeah Right ...

No eligibilty requirements to play with a US league club. Each player must posses a valid and legal ID and current medical insurance to particiapte in the league.

In USA , there is no true professional paid rugby[1]

I could find only one article on the entire web about a single "professional" AMNRL player, but it was an article from the AMNRL website about someone sponsoring his guernsey. Is the difference between that and an amateur league that they only pay the league and not the player for advertising ?

hardly "pro"

This league is totally wannabe pro.

Show me a news item about a player signing a contract worth $USD and I will put the status back.
