The American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) is a nonprofit trade association in the United States that represents editors and writers who work for trade or association publications.
ASBPE works to provide education, recognition, and networking opportunities for its members. The organization is known for its annual Awards of Excellence contest. The contest is open to members and nonmembers and offers awards for several different categories. The contest is held in conjunction with ASBPE's national conference.
Educational forums are also held by local chapters of ASBPE in cities such as Boston, Kansas City, and Washington, D.C.
ASBPE's Web site features a job bank, announcements about local and national chapter events, and ASBPE's recently revised code of ethics.
The society also publishes Editor's Notes, a bimonthly newsletter that focuses on the business and association press.
