American College of Preventive Medicine

The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) is a national professional society for physicians established in 1954. A Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine (FACPM) is a medical professional who has been a member of the American College of Preventive Medicine for a certain amount of time and who has passed a set of criteria for education, qualification and ethics required to become a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine. FACPM is used as a post-nominal title.
Preventive medicine trained physicians have had training in both clinical medicine and public health and work to reduce the risks of disease, disability and death in the population.
