Of course another alternative is to provide a link to it. [1] Mathmo 18:21, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

  • What was that whole Stub-related stub nonsense about anyway? Seems more Uncyclopedia to me than Wikipedia.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 17:14, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
    • In Britannica, short articles are called Macropaedia articles. But in Wikipedia, short articles are called stubs, and they are placed into categories so that collaborative projects can find targets to expand. This one just happened to attract a lot of categorization because of the Stub surname. Uncyclopedia would be more likely to compare stubs and their authors to double amputees. --Damian Yerrick (talk | stalk) 19:40, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Possible Vandalism

Under the "Work" section of this article, it says "His most Famous poem was Clancey of the overflow by banjo patterson". This doesn't really seem to mean anything to me, and has random capitalizations and missing punctuation, so at a glance, I would say that it's vandalism and should be deleted. If it isn't vandalism, could someone please determine its worth and reword it?Danberbro (talk) 16:45, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

UPDATE: Apparently Banjo Paterson (not Patterson) was an Australian poet in the 19th century, and "Clancy of the Overflow" (not Clancey) was one of his most famous poems. I still don't see how the work of an Australian balladeer who was born over a hundred years after Stub's death relates to this article, so I'm going to delete this line from the article.
