Funny how it read on the internet, the RMN ships must be really strong enaugh to caused that much damaged to the Indonesian's ship. Can anyone give more information? Ryan_Aldren 09:47, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes, the Malaysian ship was some kind of a Frigate or Corvette while the Indonesian one is a patrol boat. It's steel vs fiberglass....After that Indonesia sent its Frigates there.

It is wrong, bad publicity. The Malaysian governments is covering the incidents. There is a video that showing the damaged Malaysian vessel. Just use your logic senses, the Malaysian vessel is quickly withdrawing from the area and the offshore lighthouse construction is successfully finished. Read THE news, international news and forums. Never listen to the Malaysian news, it's full of lies. They never broadcast the Indonesian coach beat-up aren't they? The Indonesian workers being tortured? Guess not, if there is, there would just be a sidelines story. Ambalat is Indonesian territory, Malaysia is NOT a maritime nation and did not have a special rights the Indonesian have on drawing the maritime border. Actually, both Malaysian and Indonesian media did not tell the whole truth. Foreign media says both vessels suffered damaged. Anyway, try to be NPOV. We at Wikipedia are uninterested in nationalistic propaganda. If you wanna talk about how bad the Malaysian are, why don't you ask the Acehese, the Timorese as well as of native Papuan of how Indonesia treats or treated them? __earth ^(Talk) 10:16, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey...mr felik, you dont have to be too nationalistic or hostile against fellow Wikipedians who did nothing wrong. Honestly, by that time I got it from a foreign news service on the internet. I did checked twice, and compare it from our Malaysian views and Indonesian views...Indonesian views stated Malaysian vessels was crippled, but from our media view it stated that both vessel suffered little damage.

About that Indonesian coach being beaten up here, our media DID in fact published that on the front cover of our local news paper, and it did aired on the television. About those, Tenaga Kerja Indonesia being tortured...no it never come out, but headlines about Indonesians TKI being abused by their irresponsible employers did went public almost every time it happened, and when it did, the media always stated that the authority and the law enforcement are taking the necessary measures to solve those cases and much of the perpetrators had already been caught. So what ever you media is saying is SO UNTRUE.Never listen to Malaysian news?Well I can also say the same thing about Indonesian media.

About Malaysian being a Maritime nation? I dont understand what are you talking about? Rights that Indonesian have? I believe that as a sovereign nation, the Federation of Malaysia had the same and equal rights of what so ever that the Indonesia have. P/S: Sorry, Earth as a patriot and proud Malaysian, I must correct those false point of views before it got more worse. Shouldn't we change the title's name into Ambalat Dispute seems that that area is now currently under dispute between Malaysia and Indonesia?Ryan_Aldren 09:04, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
