[edit] Career
The band began as a trio of high school juniors who performed locally in their Federal Way hometown, near Seattle, under the name Follow Through. They participated on the Warped Tour in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007, and toured with Matchbook Romance on the Sub City Take Action Tour in spring of 2006.
Ben Harper (originally in Yellowcard) joined Amber Pacific and joined the recording of their third studio album. Recording started 16th October 2006; Harper left the band before the end of the year. The band released their third album, Truth in Sincerity, in May 2007. The first song released as a single from the album was entitled "Fall Back Into My Life" and appears on the TMNT soundtrack.
Recently, lead vocalist Matt Young left Amber Pacific, to pursue a career in public education as a principal, in "hopes that I can better prepare future generations for what lies ahead". The band has been searching for a vocalist, and they have given updates of the search through MySpace blogs and bulletins.
