Amanda McGill

Amanda McGill (born March 21, 1980) is a member of the Nebraska Legislature from Lincoln, Nebraska.
Born in Omaha, she graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2002.
While earning her degree from UNL, McGill was a member of Cornhusker Forensics (Speech and Debate team) for four years. Her senior year she was elected team president and was a national finalist in persuasive speaking.
She was a television reporter for KOLN and communications director for the Nebraska Democratic Party.
She was elected to the Legislature in 2006 serving Nebraska's 26th legislative district.
